General Information

The aim of the conference is to link the industrial and academic communities specialized in the R&D of optical elements, systems, and measurement methods, and to provide an opportunity for researchers, industry experts, postgraduates, and university students to share their experience and knowledge related to the above-mentioned fields of optics.

• Optical design, simulation, experimental evaluation of optical system performance
• Manufacturing of glass, plastic, metal, and ceramic optical elements
• Non-classical ways of manufacturing and polishing using MRF, IBF, plasma, laser, etc.
• Methods and systems for optics measurement
• Measurement methods employing the optical principle
• Hyperspectral imaging
• Thin film layer deposition and measurement
• Fine mechanics for optics
• Special optics, RTG, HOE, diffractive / light guide / crystal optics  
• Computational imaging, coded aperture systems etc.
• Laser optics, optics for space, and radiation hard optics

Deadlines

• 14th July 2019 – Delivery of abstracts
• 31st July 2019 – Registration of participants
• 31st August 2019 – Announcement of acceptance of papers for publication
• 31st August 2019 – Early payment of the registration fee
• 20th September 2019 – Delivery of the complete text of the paper
• 20th September 2019 – Payment of the registration fee
• 8th - 10th October 2019 – Date of the conference

Registration fee:

360 EUR / 7735 CZK + VAT (21%) – Payment by 31st August 2019 (the amount has to be credited to our account)
400 EUR / 8600 CZK + VAT (21%) – Payment after 31st August  2019

The registration fee covers admission to colloquium sessions and proceedings + refreshments. Payment instructions will be sent following a successful registration. 

Venue and accommodation:

The conference is held in the Wellness Hotel Babylon in Liberec, the Czech Republic. The accommodation is available at the conference venue (https://www.hotelbabylon.cz/en/), where a special rate will be provided to O&M attendees (the password required for the discount will be forwarded after the attendee’s registration).

The official language of the conference is English.
